Altenew Academy Seasonal Scene Building Level 1

Seasonal Scene Building Level 1

Framed Scene

Sat March 2, 2019

Today's blog will discuss my creation for the Framed Scene Class #4 taught by Nicole Magouirk.  Five great classes.  I wanted to create a pretty card using Spring colors.

This is my last class in Level 1...Whooo Hooo!!!

The white card base is a standard A2 card (51/2" x 41/4").  I used my brayer and Altenew mini ink for a custom background.  The frame is Gradient Stripes Die, also from Altenew.com.  I just die cut it from white card stock and glued the outline of the frame to the card base.  I left the cross lines loose so I could slide flowers and leaves underneath any of the the lines.  You can go back and add a drop of glue to any of these lines after you finish the rest of the card.  I didn't because I felt these were secure enough.  The flowers and leaves are from the Sunlit Flower Stamp and Die set.  Two of the flowers I used two layers of color and one flower is three layers.  the leaves were all stamped with a black outline.  I used Altenew markers to color them in.  These classes were so much fun and I really learned a lot.  I hope you will explore the Altenew.com website for more inspiration.

Create, Create, Create!!!
Have a great weekend!!!
